Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of San Alejandro in 1998, specializing in painting. He worked as a teacher of drawing from life and artistic anatomy at the academy.
He currently lives in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Mexico. The recurring theme of his work around the human body has been a pillar to develop a solid and personal painting within the contemporary figurative; having a large number of personal and group exhibitions that have been developed in major galleries and museums such as the Museo Casa Diego Rivera, Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach and the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona where his work is part of the permanent collection.
His work has been awarded in various competitions and is in important state and private art collections. Among his most important awards is the “Lorenzo 'l Magnifico” prize in the painting category at the IX Biennial of Florence, Italy.
