Alejandro Colunga

1948 Guadalajara, Mexico

Architect, musician and self-taught artist who began his artistic career in 1968. He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in the United States, Mexico, Europe and South America. Most of his works are in important private collections and museums.

Colunga works on ambitious sculptural projects based on water tanks, steel, glass and live fish. He has several workshops and works in different parts of the world. Colunga currently lives and works in Guadalajara, where he develops most of his projects.
