Frisly currently works as Associate Director for 10 Design leading the design of a variety of projects and scales in different parts of the world. He received his M.A. with Distinction from the University of Applied Arts Vienna where he presented his final thesis at the prestigious Venice Architecture Biennale in Venice, Italy, and his professional degree from Barch at Drury University in the United States, where his final project was nominated as one of the best projects of the year upon graduation. He also holds an Executive Master's Degree in Architectural Visualization from the State of Art Academy in Venice, Italy.
Some of the most emblematic projects he has been involved in architecture include the Guggenheim Museum in Abu Dhabi and Beijing, The Forest Tower in the Netherlands and, most recently, the Chonqing Club House in Chonqing, China.His work has appeared in international architecture and design magazines, both web and print versions, such as Mark Magazine, Architectural Record, Frame Magazine and Wallpaper.Frisly is also active in academia and research, currently as a studio professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico. His previous academic involvement includes SPACE Hong Kong University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Drury University in the U.S., the University of Florida, UMSNH Morelia and Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala.
His ongoing research involves the relationships between architecture, ergonomics and natural systems, as well as the role of visualization in architecture using different technologies.
