Mexican pop art artist most recognized today and with greater international projection, with more than 400 solo exhibitions throughout 38 countries. Recognized as the mother of hyperrealist pop art, winner of important awards in Mexico and abroad, such as the Gaviota “José Luis Cuevas” award for excellence in the visual arts, the “Leonardo Davinci” award, the “International Prize of Nations, Tribute to Titian” and the “Raffaello” award, awarded in Florence, Venice and Bologna, Italy respectively for his outstanding contribution to Art and the Doctorate Honoris Causa, awarded by the Ibero-American Doctoral Cloister, in the Chamber of Deputies, for his excellent performance and outstanding leadership in favor of the homeland, culture and humanity, in 2018. In addition to the 1st Place at the Biennale of Nations in Venice in the same year.
